In the "Aeneid" series illustrations are presented for the famous comedy of parodies by Ivan Kotlyarevsky "Aeneid Virgiliev in Little Russian", which marked the beginning of a new era in the history of Ukrainian literature in the middle of the 18th century. The comedy is written in a bright, juicy folk language, as they say with salt and pepper. This is not just a retelling of Virgil, but a completely independent and original work in the style of burlesque and parody. "
